Hello all! Yes let's hope for a better day. Although not looking too good for me at the moment. I have a migraine. But the nicest thing just happened. My friend Marie just came upstairs and brought me a side dish of her Death By Chocolate dessert. This stuff is awesome! I told her that I wondered if it would cure my headache.


I talked to my husband last night and so far he hasn't had much luck hunting. He only saw a deer peeking out, but he didn't go any farther. One of the other guys got one though. So I am wishing him luck. I'd hate for him to spend all that time and money and not get anything. Last night I thought that something was in the crawlspace. It was kinda freaking me out. But I went and checked the door this morning and realized that it was just the door flapping in the wind.

I made it- we had those bad storms pass through last night- still winds gusting to over 40 mph on my way in. Lots of trees down and people without power, but I was not one of them!

Mornin'

We accidently overslept by about 20 minutes but it worked out ok. Fortunately, the boy was cooperative in getting ready faster than normal so I was able to get him to school on time.

So far, other than a cold 18°, it looks to be an ok day.

Thursday I took the dog to the vet and she thinks she has pancreatitis. So, the dog's on anitbiotics and had a few days of special food. The special food ended Sunday so she was back on her regular food Monday. Monday night, she threw up two big globs of food she ate earlier in the day.

Tuesday, I went back and talked to the vet again. She sent us home with more of this special food and the dog's been fine since. So, maybe this problem is food related. The bad thing is the "Lamb and Rice" she's on is about as bland as you can get for over the counter food. The special "prescription" stuff from the vet is about $13 more for a 40lb bag . . . which is not terrible if we have to go that route but it would be nice to not have to go to the vet for food.

good morning, y'all!  the sun is shining today and the wind has quit.  my morning was going well until i found out that petty cash hadn't been posted to job cost...  therefore, i singlehandedly took down a whole rainforest when i printed my reports

woo, i can sympathize with the whole hunting widow thing!  my husband hasn't brought anything home in three seasons!  does you husband gun hunt or bow hunt?  mine bow hunts, so i will cut him a little slack

We have a dead doe hanging from a tree in our back yard. Our neighbors property is an "L" shape around ours. Their son hunts and he got his deer over the weekend. He hung the gutted deer in the tree right outside our living room window and there its been since Saturday. We've kept the curtain closed because the boy hasn't seen it yet and I'm afraid he might be a little disturbed by that.

I told my wife last night . . . . "If you have a dead deer hanging from a tree in your back yard, you might be a redneck!"

My husband prefers to bow hunt but has nowhere to do so. So right now he is gun hunting. He usually gets something, but I prefer that he gets something early so the pressure is off and he can just truly enjoy his time.

Good Morning Everyone! I am off to work at Dillards and then Off to West to help seniors change all of their options as its Open Enrollment season!!


 


ON A Very Bright Note. I will be leaving West on 11/22. Any Company that forces you to come in on a holiday without even paying you if you dont work ( Every Company that I know of at least pays you regular 8 hours on holiday even if you dont work) maybe I'm Wrong.  Anyways. I was told I had to come in. possilby sit there for an hour and then be sent home anyways.


So I was hired at Capitol One here in Tulsa as a Risk Associate!!! ( I think that means Inbound helping people resolve there accounts. ( Maybe Internet access back at work   ))

Capital One is who I used to replace the MBNA card. I had a Capital One card several years ago and had no trouble with them.

When we had a higher balance on the card, I used to move it around a lot and take the "no interest for 6 months" offers. When that ran out, I'd accept the next offer that came along, transfer the balance, and close the previous one. Now that everything is pretty much paid off, I can stay with one. It will be Capital One until they give me reason not to be there.
