Good morning Rubicon!

Hope you had a good Turkey day!

I got home later than I expected, then I went to do some food shopping at the 24 hour grocery only to find out they closed for Thansgiving and won't open until 6 AM. So now I'm waiting to go at 6 because I KNOW It's going to be crazy all day and won't want to go later.

Gotta love the start of the Christmas rush.

I couldn't beleive it, my whole route, every store along the way had a full parking lot of people waiting for the doors to open! 3 AM and people are waiting for stores that don't open until 5

I agree- CRAZY- it really does not seem like you are saving that much, if you put a price on your time or sleep! And most of those people are rude and a tad crazy!

Good afternoon all. I just got home from the parent's house. The drive gets easier every time, but I still have a hard time spending 4 hours in the car. I don't see how you cand rive for a living.

You know, if you just find something to kind of keep your mind off the driving it isn't so bad.

I have satellite radio in the car, so every night I listen to Fox News for three shows I used to watch anyway, STUDIO B with Shepard Smith, THE FOX REPORT with Brit Hume & THE O'REILLY FACTOR.

Since I've seen enough of these guys on TV, it's almost like watching cable as I drive, because in my mind I can see the news they're reporting.

Sometimes I'll flip to E! Entertainment and catch a "True Hollywood Story", stuff like that really helps pass the time quickly.

But we have some drivers who work 12 - 14 hours a day and do 800 miles in that time. I could never do that on a regular basis, I'd go insane. I do 200 miles a day roughly and that's plenty

It's not the boredom factor as much as I get really tired when I drive, and my back and butt get sore.

For me it would be dealing with all the people who can't drive, park, use a turn signal or give you a break once in awhile!
