Think hard about it.....who would be the top 1 or two most famous people you have met in your lifetime....that would have to include the echange of more than "Hi how are you?
I had the chance to meet President Jimmy Carter and his wife on election night just after he made his consession speach. Very nice and gracious man given the circumstances.
Also met Bill Cosby in his heyday. He went to college with a professor of mine and to hear them tell the stories of their classmates was a treat.
I am sure that LS will win this one, but I have met:
The Monkees, minus Micheal Nesmith, Grace Slick from Starship, some members of Tesla, the whole Warrant band, the whole Britny Fox band, and I am sure there are more, but it is early.... Oh yeah and I guess being famous is subjective!
I have never really met anyone famous where we've exchanged conversations.
I was walking into Fenway Park last year, and a black Escalade pulled up to talk to the VIP parking attendants. I was standing right next to the door of the Escalade and when it went down it was TOM BRADY, he wanted to get into VIP parking. I was about an arms length away from him. I yelled to my BF "Hey isn't that TOM BRADY?".. and he said "Yeah," and puff, he drove away, up the ramp to the garage...
I met Gordon Kluzak at a sports card show once and actually talked to him. (he is a former Boston Bruin)
I don't think I've met anybody. Before Nickelback hit it big we saw them in a bar. My husband was standing right next to the lead singer but didn't realize it until he walked away.

Oh, that reminds me of one, Adrian Belew from King Crimson. He played with his band, The Bears, at a bar in Bloomington, and a few of us hung out just talking to him after the show. The show was awesome too!
Not much exposure here. I guess the most famous that I've actually talked to face-to-face would be The Oak Ridge Boys. They were playing at the big country music concert that happens near here every year. The day before they were playing, the were in a local cafe eating and mingling around the room and talking to people.
Although I didn't see them, many country stars have been in that same local cafe. I know people that met Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Trick Pony, and others there. In a town of 3,500, its pretty big news when a celebrity is here.
