I met and briefly spoke with Derrick Thomas (deceased KC Chiefs football player). Poor guy... I almost hit him with my car in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium.  He ran out in front of me when I was driving up there for orientation (I worked for them for 2 seasons).  Nice guy. He appologized for scaring me like that since he wasn't paying much attention to where he was running. 


Also met and briefly spoke with Mike Ditka, Buck O'Neil, and Muhammed Ali. All very nice people.

oh yea!


when I was a kid I had a baseball I caught at a brewers game...I was outside by the player parking lot, and had a brewer named mark brohard sigh the ball, and Ned Yost (who is now current brewer manager...) lol all the GOOD guys were nowhere to be found. but brohard had hit a homerun ball the night before that knocked the skin off the ball, so he was a hero that weekend.


but Bud Selig, who owned the brewers at the time was there too, and very happily grabbed my ball to sign in. I remember thinking well DAMMIT YOUR NOT A PLAYER YOU ASS! but he and brohard seemed nice enough/ happy to talk so I let it slide. I doubt I have that ball anymore tho.

I still have my Buck O'Neil autographed baseball.  I don't believe I got Ali's autograph... I think he was not doing them because of his Parkinson's.  I have several pictures of him though as he was visiting my office.

Badlands - Dreams In The Dark


I've met Eric Singer. 


Also, one time at a Paul Stanley solo show (Eric Singer was drumming) I walked by Ray Gillan.  This was before Badlands came out.  I saw him because 1) he was beautiful, and there was no NOT noticing him, and 2) I'd seen an article on him in a rock magazine, which talked about him singing for Black Sabbath.  I wish I'd said something to him, but being as I'd never heard him sing at that point, what would I say?  (Bummer)  I'll tell ya, he was 100 times more beautiful than Paul's then-girlfriend, Samantha Fox who was also at that show, walking throught the crowd in a VERY tight red dress.
