Yeah. I thought I'd check in what with all the messed up weather situations going on. I know lots of folks (me and Pambo included) are about to have a bad time of it. I know both of us are okay, so I wanted to check on everybody else. Howzit going for you?

I am good, I know DS is home because of the snow and a whole bunch of other members are getting ready for it to hit.

How is Pambo? She has not visited in awhile.

Ready for Christmas?

Pambo is doing okay. She recently went back to the neurologist. He changed up her meds again, so she'd feeling kinda dopey but hopefully this will help her out. She had a great time on her recent trip to San Diego. I think that was a much needed break.

Definitely not ready for Christmas. I have not even started shopping. So far I know what I'm getting for one grandkid. I really need to get motivated on that subject. I did at least put up the Christmas tree (4 ft. pre-lit palm) and the window lights. That's about as far as the motivation carried me.

I gather this storm is supposed to be bad for a lot of us. I'm not too worried about me. I've got a 4WD truck to get around in, and if worst comes to worst I can work from home. My boss was kinda surprised to see me today anyway as I was doing some maintenance window (midnight - 5am) stuff last night and I have a rockin' head cold working for me. I figured I'd make the attempt to show up because I figured a lot of people would have to stay home with their kids.

How disappointed are we? At 11:59AM a bunch of us were standing at the windows looking for the snow which was supposed to start at noon. My friend Bakke tapped his watch and said, "I think we need to open a trouble ticket with the weather department. They are late YET AGAIN with our massive snowfall. This is totally unacceptable!"

Okay... the snow has been falling in chunks for the last 2 hours or more. I'm going to head home. Take care everyone.

According to The Weather Channel website, storm spotters say there is already 4.3 inches of accumulation in Olathe... where both Pambo and I live.
