I like it, He sounds like a cross between Dr. John and Lou Rawls.

Hey JD-  I caught myself probably three or four times getting sidetracked by a song and having to stop what I was doing so that I could see who was singing.  Guess what, it was at the top of the hour every time, and it was Nick every time.  I really like his sound and voice.  As you all know I never listen closely to lyrics so I don't know what any of the songs were about, I just liked the sound coming out.  Has anybody ever heard of Chris Rea?  In the early 90's I used to listen to our alternative station here in Nashville.  Their sounds are very similar.  I love their deep and soulful voice.

Yeah TG! Chris Rea was huge over here in the late 80s early 90s. he had a track called "On the beach", that was a big hit, also "Road to hell", and one off my faves was called "Texas". yep the sound is very close.

What a small world!!  I have that CD with "Road to Hell", and yes, "Texas" was my next favorite song on that CD.  Great minds think alike!
