lol australian snow jokes! not too bad, distance considered.


hey if you can get to O'hare International Airport in Chicago, I can come getcha no biggie! probably save you $200 each way flyin in and out of milwaukee.

We used to get bonuses. Not much though. We are non-profit. They were just getting rid of the extra money. But we don't get that anymore and we get a better party. And this is the first year that we are shutting down for the last week of December. Only a few days are paid the rest will be taking vacation time to cover. But I like it. My birthday falls in that week and I usually take time off anyway!

that is cool that they shut down the last week of dec.  i'd take a one week shutdown any week of the year!  we don't get any bonus (but we have profit sharing).  we get a ham or turkey and an article of clothing with the company logo   and we have to be at work the day after christmas if it falls on a weekday -- like this year.  it sounds crappy, but this is actually our busiest time of the year...

We get a Christmas party where everyone gets a $25 gift certificate to somewhere. And there's really good door prizes. And we get paid the first check of January for unused sick and vacation days. And we get a yearly bonus based on performance in August (right after the fiscal year and the audits done). So with all of that, we really don't need a bonus. And we always get a day each off for Christmas and Christmas Eve, so this year we get the day after Christmas off.

I used to work for a place that had off PAID from Dec 15 through Jan 2!!!


Unfortunatly I was only there for 8 months before being layed off, IN NOVEMBER....
