I'm sorry! I got home after one last night, then church, the mall with Santa and then off to my dad's for a mini family reunion. Now I am home ready to sleep (three vodka and grapefruits) BUT I had to say hi to my FFR family

The concert was AWESOME! He had two opening acts that were pretty good, but his band was great and he is SO talented. Several songs he sang, played guitar and harmonica on. He played about an hour and a half and was full of energy. He has a great band- he plays guitar and harmonica, a drummer, a lead guitarist, keyboardist, bassist, and a back up female singer. It was a blast, but YUCK I can't believe I ever smoked. I stunk when I got home! And I do not miss the bar scene- I had to run back and forth from the restroom and not look at any guy or else they acted like you were hitting on them. I guess when you get old (which I am) you get desperate when you are single!

We sat in the back in the seating area and I never ventured to the stage to throw my FFR pen, it was too crowded with young people. But he has a very large following here and at the end he said that it gets rough on the road when sometimes you only play to 50 people. So he loves to come to Charleston where they can pack a house and get the credit they desire and they DESERVE! They have a live alum coming in January and a fifth album coming out in March. Can't wait!
