They must all think one of you are right...so I let them know, that neither answer is correct....

Speaking about a worldly topic?

This is a good idea, we should start playing Balderdash.

In Balderdash, everyone's given a word. Then on a slip of paper, each person writes down what they think the definition is. Then all of the definitions are read aloud, and everyone has to guess which one is right. If you got it right, you get a point, and if someone guesses yours, you get a point.

Morning SG:  I see this thread having a future.  Do you have any other words to stump us with.  I've done my morning paniculation and am getting ready to pour my first cup of coffee.  It's either this or Sudoku for the next brainteaser.

OK, I have one of these old antiques called a dictionary right here near my desk.  I'm gonna pull it down and see if I can find a good long word that I've NEVER heard of...

Oh, I thought of something.  Last night watching Jay Leno, he was quizzing people on the street with Christmas trivia.  I didn't know these:  1) What is Noel and from what country does it originate.  2)What is Myrrh.  3)What is Tennenbaum.

Hopefully, these aren't too easy and I'm just showing everyone my ignorance...

I know Myrrh is a gum resin from a tree that smells nice!  That's about it!

Isn't a Tennenbaum a Christmas tree?  Or am I just confused because the song O' Tennenbaum is the same tune as O' Christmas Tree?

Answers from Yesterday:  Noel is French for "Christmas"

Myrrh is a gum resin from Arabia and used for incense and perfume

and Tennenbaum, I think is a Christmas tree (I evidently can't spell it right to look it up in my dictionary.  How pitiful is that.  I tried it with an "a" and an "e".

And yes, these are all definitions from Webster.
