I bowled a 143 tonight!

Our youth group from church went bowling tonight.  My 13 year old consented to letting me go as long as there was a lane between us.  I bowled 4 games, 143 was my high.  Now I've got two extra ones here for the night.  They're good s though.  They won't get too loud or rowdy.   


Anybody else do anything more exciting?  Please tell me yes!

Hey Jules, I see it's just you and me online.  Maybe that means the others are still out partying and having a good time.  I hope you have a good Aussie Christmas.  Congrats by the way on hitting the 500 mark already.  I've been on a year and don't have half of that yet!

Hey TG, sorry I was off delving into the song list trying to find some tunes!  Sorry I missed you!  Ahhh...Christmas...spending it alone with a nice bottle of wine and some gourmet food and pumping some fine tunes! 


And hey...bowling...I can't seem to get over 120!  So well done!


Oh and the 500...yeah...i can like anything!  I'm an expert!  I have far too much time on my hands in Brisbane at the moment...head back to Weipa next week so will be quiet for a little while...but not for long!

I don't like to pressure myself.  My goal is to always break 100.  My other games were like 120 and 113.  The last game my 10 year old and her friend bowled 1/2 my turns so I didn't really keep track.  It used to tick the hubby off something terrible when I would beat him (which I usually did).  I use a 8 lb ball and have NO professional form WHATSOEVER.  He used like a 13 lb ball and could always hurl it so the pins exploded, but.... I typically ended up with more spares and strikes (hehehe!).

I had a roommate in college that was like that...just threw as hard as he could regardless of the results...sometimes harder was even to hard and didn't let the pins bounce around enough!
