RIP Gerald Ford

The former President was 93 years old.

I'm in the middle of an SNL Marathon, watching the first season in which they poked CONSTANT fun at the man. While taking a little break from the TV I saw the news online.

May he rest in peace!

Who's next?

A generation is passing away... of course, Gerald was quite a bit older than James B. Could have been his dad if they weren't so "different". So, Ford was born during the WWI? Imagine what he saw in his life time! By the time he was a young man, the Great Depression. While in his thirties, WWII. I can't imagine what life was like during the boom that followed the war. On the other side of the coin... you would also witness quite a bit of horrible/sad events. Korea, Vietnam, the riots.

Enough. I will shut up.

Good morning, by the way.

As the last surviving member of the Warren Commission (the group that did the "official" look into the Kennedy Assasination) we might now be able to get the real story.  It's amazing that we get the complete story after everyone assiociated with an event is gone.  We will see...but  RIP Mr. President and don't trip when you get to the pearly gates!

Now the media will have this on TV from the time his body is moved until he is buried.  It will get coverage I am sure.

Very sad, the Stock Exchange had a moment of silence this moring from 9:30 - 9:32 it was a quiet moment in our office.

Looks like we will be closed in memory of the President for his funeral.
