RE: New Years Resolutions

I've thought of a new resolution, that in a way I've already started. I want to show my appreciation more. I think I'm going to get some stationary and write a bunch of letters. There's so many people who have done so much for me, and it just seems like a simple spoken thank you isn't enough.

I think I was 12 when I went to go see them- still had Curly and Meadowlark Lemon (sic?)

I remember they were doing the team introductions and being ticked off that I couldn't see Curly, who was bald....no one was bald in line. but then this guy starts goofing around and smiling in a james brown like wig.....it was Curly! Big cheers for that- I think the whole arena was "WHERE'S CURLY WHERE'S CURLY!?!?!" and there he was...<---bald and smiling like this guy.

That is AWESOME!! Loved Curly!

I have the program from the New Year's Eve game... maybe 2002? Not sure. My son was too old and didn't get it. Now, he looks back and says "man, I wish I would have known" The were fun to watch. The cartoon version was mostly okay. You definitely got to know the main characters on the team. So, what does this have to do with resolutions? It's fun anyway.

Okay everyone who wants to exercise more in 2007, it's time to blow the dust off of those sneakers and go for your 30 minute walk today....

20 minutes of Tai Chi: done! Tomorrow I have class, so it'll be a full hour.

OK, so I'm a little slow on the resolutions...I had to think about it! Here are my 2007 goals:

Work out a minimum of 45 minutes 5 times a week.
Study Nichiren Buddhism at least 1 hour every week.
Use ALL of my vacation days!

I know they aren't all that exciting, but they will be good challenges for me! Happy 2007 all!

I am debating the gym thing. It's pretty nice out (40 deg) sun shining... the gym is going to be crazy. On Tues. I usually "spin" for an hour. I just don't know if I want the crowd. The equipment is stinky and broke for a month. There is also some kinda problem with the ventilation, not sure if the system gets overloaded? but, some nights it is more stinky than usual. I've got a lot of stuff to do after work. The holidays have put me behind schedule on a great many tasks.

JD, maybe we can do a weight loss tally for all the forum people that want to... sort of like biggest loser. Get a group on board, set a total loss goal, and then check out levels from time to time. Insentive? maybe the participants could get multiple requests for reaching there goal.(quarterly?) of course, it would be completely done using the "honor" system.

Just thinking out loud.

I'll do the "Biggest Loser" Freeze Frame Radio style, you can count me in.  I'll even help run it if you want.  I just don't want to get anyone mad at me if I do the best. LOL

I have no idea where to start... is this a WebGuy or JRiggs question? Actually, I can only lose a couple more before I'm too skinny.

I will support, when time allows.
