Wish us luck!!!


I work with a neat guy (D $ on my myspace page)..... D is the assistant director of programming for a local community access station for West Allis, the town Freeze Frame is located in.


Except, his station is specifically for school board meetings! In fact there is one tonight that D will be broadcasting- "Four hours of pure joy.....arguments on the color of the lunchroom walls to be painted etc..... " saws D.


ANYWAYS! Most of the time the station has up a rotating calander of events and a music track. The track is 1 hr of looping music that is slowly driving D and his co-worker insane. D is going to see if he can stream Freeze Frame Radio instead of this loop!!!! Complete with "You are listening to Freeze Frame Radio" credit!!!!!!!


He says he sees no foreseeable reason why there would be any objection to this LOL cuz no one watches anyhow HAHAHAA......but still I am over the moon on this idea.....wish us luck!!!!

no sparky, they're actually doing the board meeting tonight. I think D $ is just gonna mention it tonight to the main guy just to be sure its ok. LOL when I visit the studio on Sundays, I will turn on the tv and listen to Riggs on it!

No way! In fact, I just got home from a school board meeting. No one has time to attend so it's nice that they broadcast those in your area.


I hope FFR can flood the airwaves in Cheeseland!

aw riggs bought up a good good point, its probably an illegal broadcast if D $ does it. RIAA would be all down our throats. Don't think its gonna fly.

we may end up recording shows that D $ would be happy to feature on CHannel 13. Riggs and I have been talking about doine a "new music hour" on Freeze Frame that features a lot of the Myspace artists who are friends of the station & whos music is not restricted by the RIAA. This would create a unique show of music here on Freeze Frame, which then would be re-aired on TV 13. That'd be cool!!


Right now D$ says they have a loop of bad casio music that is driving him slowly insane!

well it won't be the live stream feed jules, but still an aspect of freeze frame that can be aired lol on a tv station no one watches....HAHAHA

still tho, the exposure, the potential for exposure would be huge. If Riggs and I were to do this as a together in the studio show, that usually ends up being pretty fun and goofy- we might actually draw listeners to the tv station simply for the unique good tunes and the unique odd banter.

It would be REALLY cool to get ourselves on TV13.


I was watching it for awhile last night and it's basically like JD said, just a one-hour MUZAK loop.  It's mind numbing.


If we could do a monthly one hour show and have them loop it, we could gain some audience members, AND it would be a GREAT advertising vehicle for the other business I'm setting up since a lot of the artists would be my clients.


JD, I was gonna tell ya, you might even want to mention to the guy that if they agree to this we could include announcements for them on the show.  Like if it's July we could mention throughout the show about State Fair promo's and stuff!  We could make this work for BOTH of us!
