Gangs of New York...brilliant! the book even better, but the movie did a very good job of "getting it".

Bad Leiutenant with Harvey Keitel......that movie will ruin whatever season you watch it in!!! Not that anyone wants that to happen, but its that powerful, its that good to be able to do that....

  I love those three!!!  I'd also add "The Last Samurai".....if I remember right, it didn't get a lot of good reviews, but I sure do love this movie.  Ken Watanabe looks so dang hot in this flick!!!  The action scenes are great too.

I don't know if it's kick ass but, "TAPS" for some reason, it had an impact on me. Maybe I was just being sappy at that point in my life.


Over all, I would say "Rumble Fish", sound track by Andy Copeland of the Police. All black n white movie. The only thing that shows color are the Beta fish one red, one blue - the blood and the lights on the squad cars.


Wierd Science, Rock N Roll HS, BladeRunner.

I've seen parts of Kill Bill (I or II) the last week or so on TBS.  I must admit I don't get it.  Maybe it's because I'm catching it in the middle.  Pulp Fiction, however, is one of my faves.  I would also throw in First .

Yeah, I think you really need to see it all the way through to really enjoy it. Part of the point is to learn what's going on as you go along.
