I think I got the hang of Thursdays ...
(Preview)
Isn't Thursday kind of like Tuesday only with more cowbell . . . and bacon? Snow is coming. We are being warned of rain starting tomorrow turning into snow later in the day through Saturday. About 10" is the estimate right now. We shall see. We've been pretty fortunate so far.

Artwork of Squonk, Bunnyman, 88dan

Okay, so there was a request to see this "artwork" I always claim to be working on. Well, I dug up some old and some new. The new stuff is the painting with the white background & framed. Second oldest, the Tiki Gods/Mr Horsepower on the backboard, from my 50th birthday party last June. Th...

Please go through my husband's website whenever you order from Amazon - It costs you nothing more than an extra 15 seconds of your time, but he actually gets paid because you bought from Amazon by "seeing them advertised on his site." (Link is on the right of the page.) On this site, you can...

What about Wednesday?
(Preview)
Ah, tis the mid week. Even us folks that don't go in to work every day can appreciate a good hump day. Keep those smiles on. If you aren't already wearing one, they always have some down at the local pubs. Peace.

Tuesday - Shoud we hit the rewind or fast forward button?
(Preview)
Morning all. I can't decide whether to try and rewind this dayby a half an hour or just fast forward to the end of the workday. Apparently is may turn into one of those days. I was here doing my thing. My etch stopped by and was talking. She decided to lose the grip on her coffee cup spilling it down the front...

It is Friday
(Preview)
Yay Friday! Did you know it's Friday? Are you ready for a weekend? Do you like Friday's? I've gotta play bass tonight. The church ladies are having a "gal's getaway" supper and speaker, and they have asked us to lead a few songs. They set it up so us guys can go, play four songs, and sneak out the...

Thursday it is
(Preview)
Howdy. Yes, it is Thursday again. I ended up being busy with other stuff and didn't get any billing done yesterday. Maybe today will be different. We must have gotten a little rain during the night. It's fairly icy and slick this morning. It will be melted soon though as we're supposed to get up to about 5...

Frosty Wednesday
(Preview)
Howdy. It's a very frosty morning . . . kind of pretty though. It's going to be nice though, 25° now and into the upper 40's later. Not bad. I'm back into the billing again today. Hopefully I can knock out another big chunk of it. Hmm, "chunk" . . . chocolate chunks . . . now I want a cookie.

(Winnie the Pooh, talking about Owl.) Good day all. I stayed out too late at half-priced martini night last night. The funny part is, I got up early yesterday morning, and got in to work about 5 minutes late. I woke up late this morning and got here on time.

Wacky Monday
(Preview)
Good day all. Friday night, we had a freezing rain storm, a bad one. Saturday morning, everything was still covered in a sheet of ice. We were out of coffee, so I thought walking to Starbucks would be safer than driving. I was wrong. The roads were clear, but the sidewalks were not. And Bloomington...

Top of the morning to ya! It's warmer than yesterday, but still only 12°. We're supposed to get up to the mid 20's. The long range forecast looks about like today. We are going to Mrs Web's work "Christmas" party tomorrow night. It is in Grand Island which is about 90 miles from here. It is to be...

That's right, it's bursday . . . -1° with a wind chill of -11°. This is the January we know and love . . . well, know anyway. I saw a FaceBook status post this morning that I kind of liked. SOPA Wednesday
(Preview)
Yo, In honor of SOPA day, I wore my black hoodie . . . like every other chilly day. Yesterday ended up being busy, busy, buysy. I didn't get any billing done because there were other things coming in a constant trickle. Maybe today will be more productive. Let's try to make it a good day.

In Indiana, it's Tuesday.
(Preview)
Good day all. Before we switched to Daylight Saving time like the rest of the USA, the joke used to be that if it's 9-o-clock in New York, and 4-o-clock in LA, then what time is it in Indiana? Tuesday. Today, January 17th, it is pouring and thunderstorming, and we have tornado warnings. The temperatur...

Happy Vacation Week!
(Preview)
Good Week All. I figured since there will be so few of us checking in, that maybe a thread for the whole week would be better than a thread for the day. I'm in the office this week. Was here yesterday too, but busy working on our company website. This is like catch up week. With so little going on, it's a go...
