Yay! Friday is here
(Preview)
Morning all. I don't know about you guys, but this seemed like a long work week to me. It may be one of those days. It was 90* at 7:30am. I hurt myself while getting dressed. Seriously, it was pathetic. So, who knows wjat the remainder of the day will bring.

Isn't it? Being a non-employed person really makes it difficult to know which day you are facing. I look forward to being employed again someday. Hey, it's Thursday. You know what that means? FRIDAY is only a few hours away! Bastille Days starts tonight. Downtown Milwaukee becomes Paris for four da...

Hot Tuesday
(Preview)
Good day all. It's supposed to be friggin' hot today (that's a technical term meaning "heat indexes around 110 and up"). Which means I'm going to be freezing, because the women in my office always over-compensate on the a/c.

Good day all. Gonna be a busy weekend. Tonight I have a date with Captain Jack Harkness (that's Torchwood Miracle day at 10 on Starz, for anyone who's lost). It's rare that I actually follow a show like that, I usually just wait for Netflix and watch them all at once. Tomorrow we're meeting up with frie...

I guess it's Tuesday. Hmm. Chances of some rain today and an expected high in the UPPER 70'S. The break from the heat will be very welcomed. But enough about me . . . what's up with you?

Hot Monday
(Preview)
Good day all. The heat index is supposed to be 109 here today. I didn't walk today, but not because of the heat, because I need to take a rental vacuum back (ours is in the shop) by 6. And I don't walk on Tuesdays because I always have something going on Tuesday evenings: either writing group, or walking g...

Tiz another Thursday. We were able to get four innings in the boy's baseball game before the rain hit last night. We were ahead 13-4 at the time so with the 5 runs/inning rule, they other team couldn't come back anyway. We play again tonight against a team that has beaten us twice. I checked my rain gauge h...

Howdy. They boy's baseball tournament game got rained out so we're going to try again tonight. Today is my brother's birthday. Wow, he's getting old. Looking forward to cooler temps today. High 70's to 80 with a chance of more showers. That will be nice. Rock on.

It's Friday!
(Preview)
Good day all. It the Friday before a long weekend, meaning this day is going to last forever. But if I'm lucky, a lot of people will have taken the day off, leaving it relatively quiet. So, whatcha doing for the 4th? We're going up to Chicago for the annual 4th of July party. Three bands, lots of beer, lo...

The First Thursday of Summer
(Preview)
Another Thursday is upon us. We're down to only two baseball games now. The boys won 19-11 last night. After we got home, my kid said "I'm thinking I might not do baseball next year." I'm going to encourage him to do it, but I'm not going to force him. I think he's just worried because next year i...

Good day all. Yes. I need more time. After work yesterday, I came home to Brian all grumpy because his phone wasn't working and he had calls he needed to make.
